Gordo accepts the QO

Via Dump ‘n Chase:

Boyd Gordon has accepted his qualifying contract offer from the Capitals for the upcoming 2009-10 NHL season. Players have until July 15 to let their teams know whether they accept their offers or not, so a few more announcements of this type could be forthcoming in the next few days.

Here is the Caps press release. Because he accepted his qualifying offer, that means he’ll be making $761, 250.

I’m sure most of the other lady Caps fans out there are happy to still have the scrappy, puppy dog faced 4th liner on the team.
